Is there an easy solution for removing front wing i.e. fittings under sill and at headlight.

No easy solution I'm afraid matey.  :(

I had to drop the side skirt, front bumper and wheel arch liner to get the wing off for you! Took me quite a while and I finished up with a mug full of fixings!

These old buses are well screwed together!!  :y

Removing the headlight wont affect the adjusters. Just dont drop it or bang it against things while its off. They dont like shock treatment. ;)

You don't need to remove the headlight to get the wing off mate, just the bits I listed above.  :y

I'll drop you a PM with my number and if you get stuck, give me a call. I'll try and talk you through it...  :)

How's that for service???  ;D

It can be done without taking the front bumper off but it's tight.
2 torx screws attaching the arch liner to the front bumper need to come out, then the arch liner. 3 x 10mm bolts holding the black bumper retainer then the 2 x 10mm bolts behind that. Line of bolts across the top (8 IIRC and all 10mm). Then 2 x 10mm bolts behind the sill cover, 1 x 10mm bolt at the top hinge edge from the door side and 1 x 10mm bolt about halfway up the hinge edge from inside the wheel arch :)

And be careful the bonnet doesn't eat you when you remove the gas strut that bolts through the top of the wing!  ::)

I had my drivers front wing off this week.

Here's a how too

Remove 4 x 10mm bolts of the top of the wing.

Remove 2 x torx screws of the bonnet strut and move it to one side.
(Watch your fingers and head if it drops)  ::)  ;D

Remove the front grill ( 2 screws / 1 clip ) to expose the screw that holds on the plastic strip that goes under the headlight. Remove the screw and plastic strip  :y

Pop off the front part of the plastic side skirt to expose 2 more 10mm bolts and remove them  :y

Remove the screw that holds the plastic liner to the corner of the front bumper and pop of the bumper corner to show 2 10mm bolts (painted), Remove them  :y

Pull back the plastic arch to expose the carbon filter.
Remove the 10mm nut that secures it and push the filter up out of the way  :y

Now If you look inside the arch at the back of the wing, Remove the insulation and you will see a 10mm bolt that screws into the back of the wing. Remove it  :y
( you can see more if you pop off the side repeater and shine a torch in there ;))

Last bolt  ;D ;D
Open the door and look at the wing and you will see a 10mm bolt screwing into the wing.
Remove it and lift the wing off  ;D ;D

Fitting is the reverse ish  ;D  but don't nip up the top bolts until you have lined the panel up  ;)

I did mine in about 20 minutes  ;D ;D

If you get problems .................. pm me your mobile number and we'll have a chat  :y

Have fun  :D :D :D
