I have this flywheel
(http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x80/mecdv6/flywheel.jpg)
this pressure plate and bearing
(http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x80/mecdv6/pressureplaten_bilya.jpg)
problem is new pressure plate and bearing (old one not usable) costs approx 450 £ :o >:(
and although flywheel seems usable with some skimming I cant trust it for long term.. its from LUK and in case of change I need to pay another 500 £ minimum :o :( >:(
so checking this thread
http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1161590849/6
front wheel flywheels can also be used and they are cheaper..
question is, which one must be choosed for long term, cars health and economy optimised.. any info/opinion appreciated..

any solid flywheel should last the life of the car i would have thought Cem? so longevity isnt really an issue,
for what its worth the 2.5 v6 vectra clutch as far as i can gather is pretty long lasting in normal use, but if this is a one time only job think i would look into an uprated clutch material if its available there, then you wouldnt have to do the job again!!!
just one thought though, pleae do not forget to fit a spigot bush bearing in the end of the crank, or your manual box wont last a 1000kilometers!!! :y

1. thats good news which makes me feel better.. so I dont have to worry about future flywheel expenses.. :y
2. Even the normal items not that easy to find, so uprated clutch seems a bit far.. I need to order from abroad which needs more time.. :-/
3.Thanks for warning.. this advice I'll definitely listen :y :y :)
