Title: Multi ram question
Post by: lou on 25 June 2011, 17:44:23
Just been out doing the usual checks. When I blip the throttle the back actuator does not move but the front is moving at a certain speed. Checked all connection and Vac and all seems normal. Should the back one change when reved? All seems ok when driving and have not notice any changes.

Mine is exactly the same - not sure if that's what it's supposed to do, as it may only activate "under load" rather than just a certain engine speed

Need to be quite violent with the blipping to get the rear one to move ime.

Or get tech2 to test it remotely.

Perhaps I was too gentle with the throttle as i did not rev the guts out of it. I will give it a go......

hallo to all.

the multi ram valve on the back of inlet manifold should open on 4100rpm, while other one near radiator opens on 3500rpm.
i have a problem with that on the inlet manifold, it shows no signs of working. it shoud work on idle speed and on 4100rpm as i said. the valve is working when i take off The throttle position sesnor (TPS) and i turn it with my finger, then valve opens, but when i put it back on throttle body, valve is not working again.. could someone explain that strange situation? please help.
