Title: Cruise Control
Post by: sticka_v8_init on 28 July 2011, 08:27:27
Hiya fellas, just wondering if the '98 Omegas came pre-wired for cruise control and would it be a simple case of changing the indicator stalk for one fitted with the cruise switches? .......or is it a wire up jobby?

Thanks in advance  :y

not quite....check the guides in the maint section.

You need the prefacelift guide...

So new stalk
brake / clutch switch
cruise motor and cable to attach in the engine bay.

the kits do still pop up on here for sale....create a wanted ad if you want one  :y

Many thanks for that, much appreciated. Will check to see that my engine has not been modified, brake switch has not been welded in place etc.......then i'll go a hunting with the lads who are breaking.

Cheers again  :y
