Title: Eroded headlamp lenses
Post by: GaryBC on 03 August 2011, 13:53:16
Washing the car at the weekend I couldn't get the headlamp lenses clean - then I realised they're not dirty, they're covered in tiny pits.
This is evidently some form of erosion - chemical or mechanical or a bit of both! Are the lenses replaceable? Or do I need to set about them with the T-Cut?
Cheers,
Gaz

You could try this http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1275518109
and if that fails I may be able to sort you some decent projector lenses assuming yours is a facelift

Looks like bloody hard work! Yes, mine is a facelift so if you could get hold of a pair, how much (is a sore arm worth)?

I cleaned mine up recently as per that guide. Only took a few relaxed hours. Would probably take you longer to take your car to bits and replace lenses to be honest.
