Title: Gearbox oil
Post by: Adies08 on 01 August 2011, 11:07:56
Hi. I know this has probably been asked a million times before but how do you check the oil on a facelift 2.5 auto box. I presume it's through the filler hole but I can't locate that on the box. Any help gratefully received. Cheers

should cover it, all our guides like this are in the main section, with a handy index at the top  :y

The filler is on the right hand side of the larger sump, 4th picture down in this thread

The guide given by Jimbob assumes that you don't have access to a pit, hoist or other means of working under your car when it is level.  If you do, just undo the filler and top up until the ATF runs out (engine running and box warm of course).
