hi all, been a while since i was on here, just bought myself another omega a 2.6 v6. i picked it up last night drive it 15 miles home. got to the bottom of my street and it cut out and wouldnt restart until it cooled down abit (it was hot was just running normal temperature) when it cut out i tried restarting it but it just turned over without trying. i gave it half hour it started first turn. just down the pedal trick and only code it brought up was 0335 (crankshaft position sensor "A" circuit malfunction) can anyone shed any light on this? is it just a case of replacing crank sensor or is it saying that because engine not running? anyone had any similar problems? i rang the bloke i bought it off up and he said it had done it a couple of times to him but recently but he hadnt been using car apart form local journeys.
any help much appreciated.

cool, is that the symptoms of the sensor going then? never had one go before. i would have thought they ran rough all the time when sensor went.
cheers though will give that a shot

yes, replace the crank sensor
use genuine vauxhall
and see the maint guide on a better way of routing the cable away from hot parts :y
This can, and does cause breakdowns, which can need recovery truck if your car wont restart at all. :'(
