After doing an oil and filter change yesterday and breaking an already fragile Knock sensor wire i had also decided to have a look as to why my front bumper was misaligned.
Took it off (not difficult) and found this....

on the rear of the bumper it had been plastic welded and then fillered.
Half an hour later and some mild heat the bumper is now sat correctly, it's off to the bodyshop as soon as the rear spoiler arrives.
the grooves you can see on the bumper are where the bonnet has rubbed
If they had spent half an hour more in the first place....... >:(

having beaten the carp out of it in order to straighten it out it must have been s low speed impact on something sharp.
everything else is fine, i took the bar off and it seems to have bourn the brunt of it, the washer bottle has a few kinks in it but it will live ;D
i should have god some pics done of it when it was finished, will do them once she has been down to the paintshop
