Title: Air conditioner not cooling in the day

I havent shown my car at the garage is why Im writing here first,

So the problem is that, the air con doesnt seem to cool the air properly especially at day time, seems to work ok at night ( sort of )
But the thing is that, when car is idle, the air completely loses the coldness and becomes warm, I then press the accelerator to increase the rpm and that sort of causes it to cool the air

Is there some problem with compressor ?? Or should it be regassed ??
I dont remember when it was last regassed anyway so maybe that causing it ??

ps, temperatures here in day go upto 42C at peak times, but normally average 35C

OK, The air con compressor will only turn itself on if there is gas pressure in the system. If there was a leak and it has emptied the system goes into a safe mode to stop any damage to the compressor. The cold air you think is from the aircon is not - its just the normal fan and not the aircon system!
First thing you need to do is to take it to a service centre and have it regassed but tell them you suspect it has a leak. They will put a dye into the system at the same time they re-gas it and it will show any leaks under a UV light if there is one.
No doubt anyone else will offer the same advice.

Hey...post some pictures please.....ideally in a "Bahrainy" environment.

Would be nice to see
 a Mig in such an environment.
