Are the spark plugs in a 2.6 the same as in a 2.5/3.0??

In theory, the 2.6 & 3.2 use the 4 prong electrode plugs to maintain the huge 80 000 mile change intervals. I've had the 4 prong in my 3.0 so I can't see any reason why you couldn't/shouldn't use either 2 or 4 electrode plugs in your 2.6 :y

My recollection is that they are different but I can't log in to Tradeclub to check >:(

TC lists 93183992 for the 2.5, 90509739 for the 3.0 and 9195868 for the 2.6 and 3.2.
I prefer twin electrode so that's what I have in my 2.6 - 9195109 as supplied by my local stealer. And they certainly won't be staying there for 80K miles.
So that's a choice of four for you - take your pick ;)

:o :o How much? :o :o
That would've paid for a life times (yours, not the cars ;D) worth of plugs from Vauxhall on Trade Club

true felt ripped off :'(

I use the twins in my 3.2. Pointless having the quads, as they come loose at around 40-50k anyway...

Don't believe the hype. Its a spark, thats all ;)
If you notice a difference, its a sign your old plugs were well past their best ;)
