Good news! They dont fail to often so there must be loads floating about at breakers. Etc.

Paid £90 for one in my pre forum days(well I didn't know) having had it tech2'd to confirm first at the dealer. To be told that they would not accept a refund if it didnt fix the fault.

"but your technician just confirmed it via tech2... As you have just instructed him too... Does he not know what he is doing then? "

It did fix the fault but talk about cake and eat it! Bloody dealers! I also suspect DK had swapped the relay out to fit the good one to another car. He knew exactly what to say before I'd finished describing the problem. Hmmm... >:(

Anyway, long live OOF, aye  :y

Make that "pre ANY forum days" and the concept of googling issues with cars...  In fact cars generally. It was all bikes up to then.  :-/

Or "BLOODY BIKES  >:( " as opposed to "BLOODY CARS  >:( "

Pre the ABS forum, there was an email sent to all with any problem you might have had. Not as good as a forum that is real time, but it was the best we had & it worked. Unfortunately you ended up with an in box containing hundreds & hundreds of emails waiting for you when you went away for a fortnight.  ;D ;D

my steering was always heavy ish.. but thought that was normal ,not having am omega b4 and an older car etc. but one day the steering went really light...then heavy again the next day, so i guessed heavy was not right.. changed fluid first , no good.. so then stervotronic relay and haa presto sorted... amazing now light etc a new car..
