Title: code 16 knock circuit 1.

Hello,

I took my inlet manifold off my 3.0 yesterday to fit the one id set up with the LPG conversion but it wasn't running right afterwards and was giving a code 16 "Knock circuit 1" message, I assumed it was part of the LPG throwing it up so removed it all and refitted the original manifold but the problem has not gone away, it shows intermittent loss of power especially noticeable when pulling off. Ive some spare knock sensors I was going to try but does anyone know which side No1 is? and do you recon that will cure the problem?

Is it plugged in?  Any damage to its cable, can catch on Aux belt.

That's why I love this forum, As soon as I saw your reply I remember hearing a small rubbing noise that didn't last long and I soon forgot about, but  sure enough a quick check there and found the wire has practically rubbed right through. Hopefully that will be that and you will have saved me hours of head scratching.
