car passed on emissions, rpm 607. co. 0.007. at fast idle lambda 1029.co 0.026.rpm 2739.hc 23. but what is lambda ?

The lambda value is the air fuel ratio relative to the "chemically correct ratio" required for a catalytic converter to function correctly. Basically, the closer to 1 it is, the closer the mixture is to the ideal value.

as mine is 1029, how can i improve it,what do i need to do

It just means it was running slightly lean during the test. If the emissions are OK I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

ok.. thanks for that.. and not sleep lost, just nice thats it not more money...but car would be worth it..new disc and pads arrived today..
