Title: 2.2 cam belt renewel

Hi all, was just wondering if i would need a locking tool to do my 2.2 cambelt as it is now 5000km overdue ::) and i would like to go to Italy next weekend with piece of mind! also what are generally good kits (from motor factors) or should this be oe only! and just to tear the arse what will i expect to pay for the kit!! thanks for any help you can give me, Rich

yeah you need a locking tool, its not a kit like V6, this would do it:

thanks Tunnie i bought one!! over here they start ant €16 plus postage!!, now i've found a Conti cam belt for 90 euro without waterpump and on checking waterpumps out the price varies from €9 to €50 what is the difference do i need to be careful buying a waterpump?

As waterpump is cambelt driven on 2.2, you want to make sure its a decent brand  :y

I got my last one from a GM dealer, but thats not really an option for you.

Hopefully someone else can recommend something  :y

But i doubt he can get TC price...
