I'm getting the fault code, low beam vision up when instant the car up. Will this just be the bar on the front passenger wishbone or can it be something else. The lights appear to be level and it doesn't
Come on all the time just now and again??

Check the arm & connector on front N/S wishbone and the one on the rear N/S radius/trailing arm

If you have no joy with what Rob has said above, check the motor on the back of the headlight... I had one without a motor :-? :y
-
Will have to get up early in morning and have a look, prior to it's mot at 8. The bloke wanted me to come for 6 :o

Oh well she failed. Low beam on one headlight and high beam on the other!
Also failed on brake pads and two brake pipes. The two that go from the front to the back. It's only a 4" section that's rusted but there's no joints!

I don't believe low beam field if vision fault is an Mot fail in itself....? All the tester is interested in is the beam aim.
The fault means the system isn't working correctly. The most common cause is the sensors on the front wishbone, it's not an immediate given. Wiring and and headlight motors also to consider.

Don't forget to make sure that the bulbs are seated correctly cos I had one once fail due to badly seated dip bulb. Bumper off then took headlight unit out so I could get to it better, put it back and it was a pass.
Worth a try..... if the sensors and motors are ok:y
-
Bumper off not necessary. But yes they are a bugger to fit without either removing the headlight, or the battery/air box.(make sure you have any radio code if removing battery)

(http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g480/danzigfan1/IMAG0213.jpg) This is my right headlight motor, was giving me the same message. What I did was, found another omega, mark the height of headlight points onto some door all wall (level if possible) disconnect cables from your headlight leveling motor, pull motor out and adjust it manualy with that little wheel on the picture. You will stil get the display message but besm will not be low

Well I will be looking at this in the morning as I've been in Walsall all day today. I will let you know what I find.
On the brake pipe issue I'm going to order a flaring tool off eBay so I can cut and joint the brake lines rather than replace the whole thing!
