Dead easy mate - just leave car for about 20 mins from switching off before swapping HIDs  :y

Oh ok, at the risk of sounding stupid i thought that there may be a shock risk from the ballast boxes, but if its that easy ill be doing it myself,

Done a few now that way - no shocks to date.  :y

Biggest problem with Omegas is lack of space to get at the 3 torx screws holding the bulb holder in.  Drivers side remove air filter assembly - passenger side undo battery clamp and slide battery as far back as it will go.

Some members recommend removing headlights to change HIDs - personally never found the need to do this.

I have just done both mine and found the easiest way is to fully remove the headlight units to make them easier to get to coe the 3.0 gives you no space at all at thye back of them. Less chance of busting any adjusters too. Bumper removal took 5 mins!
The HID bulb securing ring can be a bit of a sod to ease off so be careful cos they are fairly fragile.
I changed all of the bulbs at the same time cos I do not intend to have to take off the bumper again for a while if I can help it. ;)
