Title: brake bleed nippled thread size
Post by: humbucker on 10 September 2011, 10:02:37
a bit like drawing blood from a stone, i'm trying to find out the size of the bleed nipples for the car. thread size is pretty much the same across the range of vauxhall's produced at the time so you'd think it would be easy, but no.

part numbers are 90297538 REAR
and 90094817 FRONT

anyone know? i called the local dealer but they said no size reference listed on epc, just parts and prices.

can anyone help? i did think it was 8mm or 7mm but don't seem to be able to find confirmation anywhere!

can anyone confirm that the brake caliper bleed nipple is M8 x 1.25
thanks

Fronts - M8 x 1.25
Rears - M8 x 1.00

All assuming they didn't change during production and my reference ones are typical

Why the Dickens would they use a different pitch front and rear?
