Post by: hazpaker on 10 September 2011, 14:49:14
just got back from a weeks hols in north yorkshire and over the week and 700 miles the old girl returned 30 mpg, only one slight problem on some of the steeper hills up there when pulling hard if felt like she was missing a beat, all ok on the flat and slight climbs.

sounds very much like early stages of coil pack starting to brake up under load but not on light accelaration or on idle right?

Sounds like the same problem we had we changed the plugs leads and coil pack runs like a dream now :) Oh and before all that my hubby changed the cam cover gaskets because there was oil in the plugs.
