Just wondering if I should sell my Facelift Saloon with, or without, the LPG Kit?
Is the LPG likely to increase it's value?
Or should I pull it off and stick it on the Estate? :-/

pull it off and stick it on the estate........
You won't get the full value of it back on selling the car, you have saved some money but not the cost of the kit .
-
See.. I get a nice new bumper on 18 Feb... so I could remove the filler beforehand :)
If I keep the Estate, I need to buy a spare wheel tank..
-
don't want to rain on the parade mate, but wasn't that offer you already had on the saloon based on it already being LPG converted??
-
don't know much about LPG
if it was taken off the saloon would it leave tell tale signs enough to put people off (holes an such)
just looked through the local Auto trader LPG cars don't seem to be selling for that much more than cars without (if at all)
how much for a new LPG kit
-
A V6 engined car with LPG should sell for considerably more than a standard petrol version.
If it is not then either it is a bodged LPG conversion that is not working properly or the sellers are muppets!
Halve your fuel costs on a luxury car? Of course that is going to make the car more desirable, especially in London (only a one off minor charge, no further charges for LPG vehicles).

I agree with the other........but i think James may have difficulty with the highlighted part...........
Last time I checked with DVLA about getting my 2.2 reclassed as LPG (and this only reduces the VED by about a fiver) you have to turn up to local DVLA office with V5/MOT/Insurance/Current tax disk/LPGA certificate/Invoice from LPGA certified installer.
I think James may have a prob with the last item.
I prolly will do this when I come to sell mine......not for the VED reduction as its pennies.......but so it will make it more desirable to Londoners ;)

Leave it on, strange holes otherwise, also swapping manifolds.
Advertise it carefully

If you can get the money back leaving it on it's a no brainer, means you can buy a shiny new kit for the estate.
