Title: Unlocking Blaupunkt CDC

My new barge came complete with a 6 disc multichange in the boot, however, some muppet has lost the code or used up all the goes as it says 0 SAFE when changed to cd mode.

What is my best and cheapest way of getting it going again?

Is that locked out forever mode?  If so, it's a dealer job.  It's about £25 I think.

So under NO circumstances do as the manual says.

I would have thought a visit to a car audio shop should be able to sort it for you  :)

Ahh so thats solved it. It'll need the ECU changing if its a dealer job. ;D

I did think with audio security, when you run out of attempts, its locked. To unlock, flash chip out and reflashed (not finicially feasible on these CD units)
