Title: WARNING DISPLAY-BEEPS

Hi guys, I hope I'm asking this in the right place.
A few days ago whilst driving I had a low coolant level warning come up on the display
and because it was a very bright sunny day I didn't notice it streight away and by the time I did notice it I had lost a lot of water. I was telling a mate about this, who also runs an Omega and he said that on his car when a warning comes up on his display he also gets an audible warning to atract his attension. My Omega is a 95 v6 and my mates is a facelift model. My question is, should mine give out an audible warning or is it only on the later models

The only audible warning I have is when lights are left on.
Suspect facelifts only have this.

Mines the mini facelift and it doesn't beep for a low water warning.

AFAIK, no Omegas have audible warning for check control system...

My facelift doesnt......and glad it doesnt....as the coolant level sensor is fubared at the mo....so the warning is constantly on.....if it beeped at me as well it would be doing me head in!!

Ive also had check oil level on......this didnt beep either

Its the NCDC2013 and 2015 that do this as the computer functions are controlle via the main unit....its an option that can be turned off though.

Would that be via Tech2 then, cos i've got the 2013 and i don't see it in any of the menus.   :-?

It is in one of the menus but, its VERY buried and not obvious to get to....

I've been all through the BC menus and nothing, zilch, zero.  :-/

Is that the Sat nav and telphone stereos?

i can't remember what my elite has fitted, it has the 4 disc multiplayer, would be interested in knowing how to set this up if poss
