going to it a bletooth handsfree kit at some point and wondered where you posh people with the posh telephone radios mics are hidden, are they in the interior light ?
-
If you have a CCRT7000, they you have a different courtesy lamp with it built in.
But you won't, so use the kit one, and probably best place is just drivers side of sunroof panel, running cable along top of windscreen and down passenger A post to kit that you mount under glovebox.
Remember, the law is still a little grey, and the original law (3yr old one) stated electronic handheld devices had to be in a cradle....

am aware of the greyness of the law. a trucker was recently done for touching his phone, mounted in the craddle :o

Ive added a new stereo with built in bluetooth - Pioneer BH55BT or similar
Can do everything on that just using the radio controls, even voice dialing.
So, no phone related convictions, no stereo ones exist, just not being in full control of vehicle, or without due care and attention.

thats what i was thinking, pioneer bh55bt or 75,depends on the size of my wallet :'(

Hi, I have the Pioneer DEH-P75BT, it has a fantastic sound quality compared to the original CCRT700 unit, I don't have amps, sub woofer, boom boxes, or anything else that I really don't understand what they mean, attached to it, but still sounds pretty good. Got mine from here, very good service and good price, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PIONEER-DEH-P75BT-FREE-P-P-UK-STOCK-BRAND-NEW-BOXED_W0QQitemZ230100572261QQihZ013QQcategoryZ39762QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I knew a sales guy at our place who asked that question once. This guy could talk for Britain. He was told that in his case, the mic was in the seat! ;D ;D ;D
