				Get complimented on their car?

Twice in the last couple of weeks, people have made a point of telling me how much they like my Omega. It's a great feeling when perfect strangers come up to you and say, 'Nice car mate'.

Makes you want to look after her even more.  :y

I know I slag my Omega off at times ..... I miss my Senator .... but you know how comfy & nice it is to drive when you drive an Astra LS diesel 1.7 from Bury to Pompey & back again in a night (I nearly called at Marie's house for a brew before I set off home again  ;D  ;D)
It's a long story but duty called, & Dad had to drive son to Pompey as his car broke down (failed clutch) 15 miles in. I couldn't wait to get back home, I think i have an Astra seat shaped 4r$e after 500 miles. I s'pose it saved my licence though, as the Astra isn't really comfortable above 80mph

I usually get random people saying, nice car - is it your Dad's? (only cos' its huge, therefore they think it is expensive or something)
.... err no as it happens. >:(
-
mother in laws first reaction to seeing my shiny metallic black, fully loaded Elite Estate, complete with skirts and body kit, "how nice a hearse"
I knew then if something was going it wasn't the car!
