Title: CDR 2006 disc magazine stuck

As above when i press eject the mag relases but then seems to get stuck and wont come out .
Any one got any ideas how to get it out ?
It still work perfect when it is pushed back in .

Hi, When the mag ejects you will see a white plastic tag on the right of the mag. If you pull this out towards the right you should be able to remove it. :y

The white lever is for ejecting the discs from the cartridge. It sounds as thoug the mechanism for loading and unloading the cartridge is becomming worn or the cartridge itself is damaged.

If it gets totally stuck you need to remove the entire unit and strip it down to get access to the various wheels and cogs that work the drive.

Solutions are either a new cartridge or worst case a new player. If the latter try your local dealer for an exchange unit although it seems that not all of them are aware of the exchange system.

Its a failure of the CD carrier.......seen this once before and it cost about 50 quid to fix (new carrier mechanism)
