Hello,
I would like to put some 6x9's in my Omega 2.5td Estate and am looking for advice as to the best place to site them. Previously I have put them on a parcel shelf in previous cars but would like to hear from any other estate owners as to other possible locations, as this car has a flexible parcel shelf at best!
Best option will be to remove existing speakers in rear doors, but I am scared of messing the doors up...

I think you'll struggle to fit them in the doors, and there's not really enough volume behind them in a door anyway, or anywhere else in an Estate for that matter. They really are best suited to hatchbacks.
It's possible you're trying to fit a round peg into a square hole here. I would say upgrade the front door speakers if you want better mid and upper tonal range sound quality (or power handling) and add a sub if the bass is weak. Rear door speakers are a bit of an irrelevance to anyone listening (unless from the back seat). They certainly add nothing to the driver's enjoyment of the music so I'd leave them alone.

in the boot door if you take the carpet panel off the boot you will see there are two round indents in it just work out were the spaces would be for the 6x9s bud :y

Thanks Marky! I've had a feel and can feel the indentations. I'm taking the car to my brothers' in London at the weekend and he and I shall have a go at sticking them in there. Easy enought to get the wires there?

pretty much what I'd do if I didn't have a removeable Pioneer sub in the back ::)
Might be worth driving them with a decent amp rather than through the headunit though!
