Title: Cleaning CD player

Whats the best way to clean the laser in my ccr 2006 it only recognises certain cd's even tho they are original discs and new.

Is it poke about with a cotten bud or does any body recommend a cleaner?

Or is a fault there? I've swapped the cd's to different trays and it still only picks up the same cd's regardless of which tray they are in.

I've used a standard CD cleaning disk

Like a standard CD, but with some brushes attached through the disk.

Put it in the changer, load up, plays for about 30 seconds, eject, Job done  :y
