I am in the process myself.

I've got the amp and speakers in, but haven't had time to fit and rewire the headunti (defferent plugs) and display and mic yet, so have chucked in a ccr800 to make it work for now...

You'll need to study the wiring diags from both a 98 and 99 car.

Most looks straightforward, mic show go in.  Its the head unit to display cables I'm not sure of.

The major difference is the head unit to display, the standard MID is just a simple comms channel, on the CCRT its a CAN bus setup.....not to hard to do mind as its only a bit if twisted pair.

I hope so, as I want to do it as well!

TBH, can't see any problems, doing it. It would be nice to have access to a car with it prefitted to meter it out, but must be doable without.

I would have done mine by now, except I really haven't the time at the mo  :'(
