Hi I have got a strange one here.
I have noticed when you indicate to go left the indicator flashes but if you put your foot on the break the indicator stops, which can be dangerous when going round the corner. It doesnt do this turning right ?
Also if you sit there with out the indicator flashing, but put your foot on the break the indicator arrow shows partially illuminates.
Any ideas ? If you look at the lights outside the car the back indicator light stays on but the front goes out, when foot on break.
Thanks :-/

Sounds like a bad earth or borken connection. Check all the electical snap connectors to the lights, especially in the rear, as well as ensuring the ground return/earth wires are complete.
Moving to electics section ('cos thats what I do..... :y)

I have recently put a replacement boot lid on my car, although I have used the original lights, I will check the snap connections now, it does seem to be tempermental, I was just trying it then, kept stopping when applying the break, then it would work, the only prob is when it doesnt work when going round a corner.
I will look now thanks. ;)

Well I took the two lights out on the left and right, break light not indicator, I feel that the seal around the light housing is letting in a slight bit of water, not alot, but enough to have coated the contacts,or even condensation?, I have cleaned all the contacts and even the bulb, I think this may have been the problem, they were quite coated. it seems to be working ok right now, not getting to confident till I take it out today, but at first view it seems to have worked.
Thanks for the info, it directed me to the problem. :y :)

I would suggest you spray the lampholders with WD40 or something similar just to keep any moisture away especialy during these damp months ;)
