hi,

have a 2000 opel omega and my CCR2006 have the same problem i already put the 4 digit code listed on the carpass, now the radio is working but the cd player displayed CDC SAFE. there in no record of other code in the carpass just the 4 digit codes for the radio, the cd-changer type/code on the carpass is blank. tried everthing, disconnecting the car battery, deinstalling the radio but the problem persist. thanks....

Good news I have found a place that might be able to deal with this software problem

Please read:-

Common Faults:

There is a known software fault with this unit where the CD Changer may come up with an error of "CDC SAFE". Details of this fault can be found on our website.

The website is http://www.ice.dndservices.co.uk.

they are based in Torbay

Good luck
