Battery side - tricky .. I had to loosen the battery bolt and move the battery a bit to get my hand in ... big hands

Air cleaner side - I just popped the whole cleaner out as is so simple to do ! plenty of room then  :)

REMEMBER .. the voltage at the HID is EXTREMELY HIGH .. for safety sake . if you are unsure of what you are doing .. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST  :)

Nearside HID now working thanx to Jimbob for supplying used DS2 bulb so quickly (and FOC).
Changed bulb 2day - what an awkward job!
Removed fuses 22 & 31 and left for 20 mins.  Removed plastic cover, loosened battery clamp and pushed battery to rear as far as it would go.  Undid headlamp bollts, removed headlamp washer, removed grill, and removed trim under lamp. Pulled headlamp forward a touch.  Just enough rom to work!!
Removed 3 x torx screws (bottom one a pig as working by feel) - unplug front indicator plug for more room for top nearside screw.
Pull off HID cover, twist and pull off electrical connector.  Twist and pull off plastic retainer and remove bulb.

Assembly reverse noting bulb has two locators on circumference, refit plastic lock ring by pushing in and twisting. Same with electrical connector.  Refit cover and torx screws.  Refit rest.

Refit fuses and test - all ok.
