anyone know the size of the rear shelf speakers please
-
I think you can fit 6x9's in the parcel shelve's but it might be better if you take the rear parcel shelf out and put them in the metal shelf and hide them!
-
6" round IIRC.

i've just installed 6x9's in the shelf. had to remove the carpeted shelf, cut two holes for the speakers to sit in. not an easy job, not sure about others but there was no holes in my shelf for any type of speaker to sit in??
however there is a speaker grill at the back of my shelf,so maybe better spec'ed models have speakers in the shelf as standard?

The only model to have shelf mounted speakers is the Elite as it has the Bose system with 2 6" bass drivers there.

the cadi catera has two 6.5" speakers.

My CDX has shelf-mounted speakers. Haven't looked to see if there's an amp in there yet though !

some cars have the rear shelf speakers, moslty post 96 spec,
the amp is hidden behind the N/S inner rear wing, pull the carpet covering back next the the spare wheel and you should see it (philips amp)
Bose amp is mounted under the rear shelf (where applicable)
