Title: Rear light problems again
Post by: Kieran on 27 January 2008, 22:25:07
ok i still have a rear light problem which i thought was fixed. The display tells me i have a rear headlight fault and when i check the back i have no light. When i tap the lens on the outside it works again :o.Have cleaned all the contacts and tightened up the contacts for the bulb.It worked for awhile then hey presto the fault display came up again. Is it just me or are the electrics on omegas a bit fragile.
Please help :y

I replaced a rear bulb, got it from halfords & it gave me no end of grief MID flashing all the time. Got a bulb from a spares shop & measured the bulb base, turned the halfords bulb was slightly smaller in diameter so replaced halfords bulb & not had any probs since

Since we stopped using Halfords bulbs on all of our company vehicles, we have eliminated the problem as well ! :y
