Hi All,
I do not have the original Radio unit that was fitted for my car ( 2002 3.2 Ex Met Police)
At present ther is a real piece of junk radio unit fitted by prev owner.
I wish to replace this with a Sony head unit with 10 CD Changer unit I removed (only 2yrs old) from my previous car before scrapping
In the car is a blue radio connector with 3 banks of connectors. 2 the usual power / speaker ISO connectors to plug into head unit with a third connector which I think obviously fitted the original equip radio for a dash readout. These three connectors are all moulded together so I am unable to plug the assembly into the back of the Sony head unit. If all else fails, I possibly could saw through this connector, but prefer not to.
Does any one know if there are adaptors, ie socket to plug, available to plug into the head unit / bank of ISO sockets.
Any info welcome
Roger

Yes, I believe Autoleads do an adapter, If you check their website for the exact part number then you should either be able to order direct or through Halfrauds.

This will fit the two blocks of your three ISO ones without sawing them apart

Have you got a link to that Martin?

You may need to swap the +12v permanent and +12v switched feeds over as the Vauxhall wiring is non-standard. Some adaptor cables have an additional bullet connector that allows this. If not, you can carefully remove the 2 pins from the connector moulding and swap them over.

No but they appear regularly, or get one from Halfrauds. Only difference between 4 and 5 is the lead
