What are these for?

The switches in the remote fobs start to fail with age, the extra force required also kills the rubber outer!

If I repair mine permanently I'll look at doing them for members

Just fitted a set and they work great.....also fit in most later Vx remotes (ie corsa etc)

The rubber on the buttons gets mushroom shaped with use before they start to fail!

No, they are a different (and higher quality) type....

Which one is the better one?

The early switch is better quality but, to big to fit in a three button remote!

Note, the replacements from RS are C&K and not ITT as per the original ones so are actualy better quality anyway (ITT switches are not great but, very cheap)

Well I now own quite a few switches so will offer to repair them for members .

I will charge sensible rates as I am broke, but good at soldering.

3 new switches per keyfob with return recorded post will be £7.50 for members with at least 100 posts.

2 Keyfobs same packet would be £12

One member can have them a lot cheaper since I cleaned them before.

New members or non members will be £10.

Please note : postage is not cheap from RS, and it does take about 30 minutes to do properly.

Just send the fob section, and a return address I can sellotape on, in a jiffy bag.

Send it recorded, I use it as they don't tend to disappear then!

PM me for details :y

Now to join some other forums ;D
