Title: CCRT700 Phone Questions-- Help required
Post by: Big_Al on 16 March 2008, 14:15:37
Hi Guys,
Firstly try and remember that I was born when a phone was a great big black thing that took both hands to lift and came with a nice platted brown flex to the hand set !

1.How do I attempt to try and get this phone to work?

Have read that the sim card slides into front of unit, but what type ( I seem to think I read on here somewhere that it is a "Credit Card "sized sim.

2. If a card was already installed a: would I be able to see it? b:How does it come out?

3.  If no sim, where do I get one ? and how do i go about getting phone to function ?

Sorry to be pain guys but I come from the world of valves (Vox AC 30 amps and Miazzi tape echo machines )

Any help at all would be great.   ;)  Regards, Big Al

Press the little tiny button to left of the 4 buttons under cassette hole, and the front panel falls off. You should now see a credit card sized slot.

O2 or Voda only, as its a 900Mhz phone, and it needs to be a credit card size SIM (most SIMs come this size, but you 'pop out' the smaller part that most phones use now)
