Hi guys, Had my stereo recoded today in my new car. :y Trouble is now its saying CDC SAFE when i try to play cd's?? >:( :'( Any ideas. Im confused
-
Some clue as to the car, and the fitted stereo would help.
If CCR600/800/CCRT700, enter CD code. If CCR200x, it needs servicing, if NCDC201x, its likely been configured wrong.
Moving to ICE section.

Its the CCR600, My apologies. And its a T reg 2.5 V6 estate. You say the changer has a code??

Yes, CD Changer has a seperate code, which will be on the carpass. Enter the code in a similar way to radio code, but pressing 0 button instead of AS

Oh right ok thanks. Dont know if got the changer code. Can you get these second hand and if so how much roughly?? :y

If it was the factory fit stereo and cd changer, get a carpass from your dealer (shop around different dealers) £15 - £50 depending on how much of a money grabbing bastard your dealer is...
-
Cost me £15 to get stereo code changed. Will go back tomorrow and see how much they want to do changer. :)

I can decode the CDC2 via our website
