Kind of. There's a permanent 12v feed in the square socket with all the other 12N connections, you need to put the fuse in the fusebox first though (No29). I used a Smartcom (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SMARTCOM-DUAL-CHARGE-RELAY-15A-SELF-SWITCHING-SENSOR_W0QQitemZ320108474737QQihZ011QQcategoryZ36632QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247) relay to power up the fridge & charging circuits. It saves you running an alternator triggered feed for the split charge relay.
Did you know that wiring for 'vans is different depending on the year - 98ish I think?

What's in a trailer tent that needs a 12S supply? Fridge?

Interesting.
When I had my flat battry issues last week I couldnt lock the car with the remote, so I did it via a booster on the bettery, but then a neighber shut the bonnet for me thinking they were doing me a favour.
I worried all night about getting back ito the car.
My car has the twin electric sockets on the back, never thought that one of the hole could have been a permant live. Could have made thinks easy if I had not been able to get back in.
Has anyone got a diagram they could post of the sockets wiring?
Many thanks.

The supply to the Smartcom is permanent, but the electrickery inside only switches on above a voltage present when the alternator is running (12.5/13.0?) so you only pass 12v through to you fridge/charging circuit when you engine is running. You'd have to have a look at your car now that you can get in it, but I don't think you should find a 12v permanent supply at the 12S socket.

I ran my own cable as the supplied one is a little thin for my liking, I used the original to power a 6 way relay for the van lights, not what the car was designed for but just belts & braces
