Hi
I've purchased the complete Bose Audio system to fit to my 98/R facelift Tourer Estate. I'd like to know the following:
> where does the bose Amp mount in the estate.
> I plan to make up the looms I need - are the speaker cables shielded? The reminents of the original loom which came with the connectors suggest not.
I'd greatly appreciate any help with the above

I think it's mounted infront of the wheelarch in the boot on an estate.
-
the amp mounts inside the right hand (driver side) rear wing cavity, accessed by the flap in the trim...
the sub mounts in basically the same place on the opposite side of the load area...

The speaker looms are NOT shielded.....

Hi
I've had a look - its not at all obvious (so me at least). The flap on the driver' side is located directly behind the the CD player, and the opening described is revealed by exposing the CD by hinging back the CD cover. When I peer through the flap, I see:
> sound deadening material directly opposite the opening.
> neoprene (?) rubber material covering the recess directly below
> to the right - well wires...but no room for an amp
> to the left (looking forward toward the front of the car). a black servo-like box on a metal bracket which I believe is the filler flap locking servo. Immediately behind the servo is the recess for the filler cap.
So clearly I remain an idiot in suspense ;o). I going to need an exact location...any have the patience to describe where is should go
