Title: bose head with DC012

Will the philips bose head work with DC012 disc changer. currently using sc804 , hoping to fit bose head spkrs amp + bastardized wiring.

If you mean the Phillips CCR800 then no, it only runs the CDC2 and CDC3 IIRC

Is the ccr 800 better than the sc804. Can I pad down the 804 o/p to drive the amp. I presume the display connections are the same.

sc804 cannot drive ccr800 display.  ccr800 can drive sc804 display.  bose amp needed for ccr800, rather than the philips amp fitted with sc804.  CD Changer needs to be changed as well.  Probably some significant rewiring as well, not sure.
