could anyone tell what fault code p1125 is thanks

Did you get the text as well, as there are multiple fault codes for this code.  They centre around a problem with the wastegate solenoid, or possibly around the MAF.

Ideally needs a live data read to work out which.

all the garage got on his code reader was p1125 and did not know what it was

Basically, boost control solenoid voltage high, boost control solenoid voltage low, or one of 2 'critical system malfunctions' related to calculated air intake and measure air intake being different.

If Nottingham isn't that far, I would recommend a trip to Marks_DTM if he can fit you in anytime (I know he's got a busy time coming up)

Check boost pressure solenoid, failing that, PM Marks_DTM_Calib to see if he can Live Data it to help pinpoint problem.  He is very busy at moment so not sure if he can help...

thanks for the help problem with it is does not do it all the time might do it once a week and thats out of 1300 miles does it more going up hills the light comes on then goes into limp mode turn the engine off wait a few secs turn back on then fine again till next time..
