I was wondering will all the functions still work? The computer control buttons on wiper? Radio control on steering wheel? I read the topic http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1204800931/15 but it doesn't explain everything ... I have the mic installed, antenna also, I want the phone and cd box :)

Possible to get it nearly working, but its not straightforward. CCRT has 36 pin connector at back, as opposed to 26 pin on cdr500. CCRT uses a speed signal via CAN, CDR takes a direct signal

Ok, thanks. If I get it and get stuck, you know I'm gonna need your help, don't you? ;)

One thing I can't fathom is the speed sensitive volume - I would have thought the MID would provide it via CAN. Not working on mine.
Maybe I should bid on your auction, in case mine is faulty ;D

Go ahead, It went out of my price range, cause postage to Estonia is too damn expensive :) Vacation time, money needed elsewhere.

the woring for the 36pin is an utter knightmare and best avoided in all honesty CD changer wiring is a total knightmare and im sure The Boy wil agree!!!!!

Well, have to get a Parrot then for the phone I guess :) Thank you all for the answers.

All my cars have Nokia bluetooth kits in anyway, so didn't want the ccrt700 for the phone.
TBH, I think its likely I may put the ccr800 back in MV6 once I've fixed the illumination on it.

yeah im on the look out for a CCR800 as my CCRT's lights are all dead and its winding me up not being able to see what buttons to press!
have you looked up in the on the passengers side under the glove box part there mite be some handsfree wiring already there!

Cant you just fix the illumination?

dont know cant figure out hw to strip this ccrt down :(

radio out,
remove the top and bottom plates from the radio, exposing its innards
2 torx screws on each side at the front (brass colored) remove them
remove the security panel from the front, another torx screw behind there (black)
unclip the facia and pull forward
disconnect the 2 strip connections (left and right) and the little red plug connector (right side)
the front panel will now completely come off.
torx screws also hold the circuitry in on the face panel once removed, which you need to get to to access the illumination
its a series of led's which are soldered onto the PCB's. I keep meaning to do a proper fix on mine, as the keypad lights dont work (just need to solder a small copper wire to it to repair a broken track)
