Post by: stef1981 on 29 July 2008, 21:41:54
Today removed the bose system and installed the alpine system

Does someone know which interface i need for alpine

I have called the local car audio shop but i am not sure if they will use the orginal from alpine

Also selling the bose system (complete system omega dec. 2001 sedan) radio = CCR 600

Sorry its ccr 2006
100% for sure that it is the  Bose system

I have contacted alpine
they say is it a mini iso or 20pen iso
it is the 20pen
But i think they are not sure by themselfs
first they say you need kce-870 then they say APF-S100OP this is canbus i can not believe this should be it.
Then at last they have the APF-S101OP this is without CAN

I thought maybe somebody on the forum have a alpine and can say me wich one will work.

Hi
I have alpine CDA9855 and I use steering wheel remote control connected trough a small alpine adapter to the HU. I searched my documentation, but couldn't find the adapter number. BUT i remember that it's without CAN and that all alpine steering wheel interfaces has exactly the same hardware, the difference is on the firmware. I suggest you to talk to alpine distributor to select the right one.
Sorry for my poor english, i'm not an everyday speeker.

Best regards,
Nikola

I can only come up with the Autoleads PC99-X44 and PC99-ALP

Not 100% certain that it would work, but is certainly where I would start.

Unsure what the equivalent would be in Bulgaria though, nor if there were any differences in the protocol on the vehcles either, as I have seen a few variations from country to country.
