Title: Power Sounder
Post by: Jimmy Jerms on 15 October 2008, 15:40:19
Have had my car for some years but have never heard the power sounder. Had assumed that it only sounded if you disconnect the battery. But should it sound with the horns when the alarm is activated? :question

Do you know where the Power Sounder is on the later models? Haynes say under the left wing but this does not cover the new model. I've seen here that it could be under the scuttle whichy I assume is the cover against the bulkhead containing the window washers.

Also I thought the alarm set off the car horns but Haynes mention another alarm horn under the bulkhead :-?

Power sounder under scuttle drivers side. Works in tandem with main horns when alarm triggered. If it goes off intermittently usually battery inside is knacked. :)
PS. Yes, the scuttle is where you say :y
