it,s the light with the spanner poking through the sun roof .Has any one got a clue what its telling me isn't happy

EML.  Needs a code reader on yours to read.  Any other symptoms, eg won't rev beyond 4500rpm?

when the lights on the car doesn't seem to pick up as cleanly,i haven't tried the 4500rpm .What would that mean one way or the other
