Title: Mirrors are useful
Post by: Martin_1962 on 11 February 2008, 19:08:14
Managed to repair the cowling - looks fine now - just not enough laquer.

Black plastic bit is still a bit broken - will need to source one sometime, Halfords glass fitted - all OK now.

I hate cars with headlights out >:(

hit a car coming the other way (only one headlamp and it wasn't a bike), smashed the glass, broke the black plastic, lost the cowling.

NExt day cowling was found by a colleage

glass ordered from Halfrauds.

VX dealer shocked at (£50 glass £270 whole mirror)

The black bit is £170!!!!
