Hi! are there any live wires at the back, preferably near wire-loom for rear lights?
-
to power what?
-
you will love this: parking sensors. :y can't wait for your comments. ;D
it is not that simple. I am instaling timer, which will use reverse lights as a switch. Once I engage reverse, parking sensors (both front and rear) will receive power for about 5min. at least that's the idea
-
What happens when you drive in to a space? If both front and rear sensors only activate when reverse is selected :-/
-
the timer only needs power from reverse for a sec to swith the sensors and keeps them on for a preset ammount of time. so, if i drive into a space, i need to remeber to quickly engage reverse before continuing (actually, does not happen that often where i leave). anyway, i see sensors only as an additional help (just like sat nav). does not mean you should shut your eyes and switch the brain off cause you have them on the car. was playing with the idea to instal aditional switch on first gear, but this is much simpler

Towbar permanent feed is a nice easy one....although you will have to fit the fuse

The permanent supply is rated upto 30amp and is on pin 8 (Red wire).
The fuse position is F5.....
