Title: Carin Sat Nav. V2.3

Just been on VDO website to look for the V2.3 software update. Cant find it listed. Anyone any idea where else i can look. Navteq & Teleatlas just show the map discs.

Seeing as nobody is now responsible for these old ones, I shall discuss with Admins if we can distribute from here.

We discussed, and whether or not its looked after by anyone is irrelevent, its still copyrighted, so no distribution.  As there is no way of getting hold of the IP owners (Philips sort of went bust, sort of taken over by siemens, who in turn have sold that part of business to someone else, who have just sold to someone else again), that is unlikely ever to change.

Erm . . . . No, You can`t.   >:(

To save treading a very tight legal tightrope I would suggest that you no longer discuss this further in an open forum.

Where is the software level stored??? I have a satnav system on the estate I'm breaking which is at v2.3 did someone say its stored on the stereo??

For carin, its on the carin cd unit. For siemens, its stereo.
