I thought the demisters would have been piped from the front but it looks like they have a motor in each rear door. My drivers side rear isn't working, is this a common(ish) fault?
Just trying to save myself a bit of head scratching when I take the door panel off but is it usually connection or motor that goes, or even something simpler like a seperate fuse, (although I didn't notice these listed seperately?
Cheers guys

Just ignore it! ;) You never sit in the back & later cars don't have them anyway! ::) ::) :y :y :y

lol, that is most likely good advice. Amazing how you get side tracked with wanting to sort something just because it is there isn't it? :)

If you have a replacement motor then its just a case of removing door panel, drilling out rivets for window motor and removing, then unscrewing the blower motor from the door, refit is reverse of removal, 30 min job tops, worth it as in this weather the windows steam up easily with extra passengers/kids. Remember you are supposed to look over your shoulder when you pull away from the side of the road, Hard to see through steamed up glass.
A very handy toy that I use often. ;)

I can see okay using side and rear mirrors so setting away isn't a problem, if I can't see anywhere I clear them manually anyway. Its just starting to annoy me now that the passenger side is always clear but the drivers side isn't, (maybe I am too pedantic :) ).
When I got the car a couple of weeks ago I gave it a good wash before I realised the passenger scuttle drain was blocked. This lead to a mini flood on front passenger side. I mopped as much as I could and removed over mat to dry but didn't remove carpets. I am presuming the amount of steaming up I am getting is down to this drying out or is the Omega prone to a lot of condensation? It is left outside, not garaged.
