Title: Completely dead key fob - what to do?
Post by: Martin_1962 on 28 November 2008, 19:21:11
Tried a good battery - no
Jumped a switch - no

All seems dead - what voltage do those little LEDs take - so I can check that it works?

If it does and the still doesn't work - what next

Tracks checked, through thingies checked

Don't suppose you've got a scanner or similar that will tune to 433.92 MHz? You can hear them transmit if so.

You can check the digital sender section with a scope.

Also, if its the early 2 button job then check the PCB very carefuly for cracks around the battery holder tags
