Title: Now the heater fan
Post by: Martin_1962 on 08 December 2008, 08:56:59
Intermittant.

Bang under the glove box - works for a little while

Went wrong on road bumps >:(

Will have a prod at dinner time - where are the connectors under there please?

Anything else not working?

No specific connectors other than one that connects to the climate panel, blower speed controller and blower motor.

The 0V point for them is under the battery tray!

Just Fog lights as well - a different problem.

Just wondering if I disturbed anything

Climate panel appears OK, all buttons OK stays lit up motor working or not.

While digging under there looking for a cable route a press to connect switch fell out (glove box light) - will need to refit sometime >:(

My car appears to be falling apart :(

I will pull out the glove box at dinner time and look for connectors on the fan itself.

So where are these CC connectors, so I can check them later?

I wonder if I should contact the council.

Connector onto the motor was dodgy, so took off, shoved on as far as possible then secured with a cable tie.

All seems OK now :y
